Synopsis for Movie:

He's too tough for tears...because he had to grow up too fast! Here's the story of a teen-ager who tried to make it the hard way...with all the odds against him!

A teenager (Sal Mineo) fights to retain his dignity and self-respect against the brutality, sadism and cynicism of the "big guys" around him in the brutal world of a Georgia orphanage. The young man soon becomes involved with an escaping convict from a nearby prison. Through his experience with the convict - a man unjustly sentenced - he finds within himself the strength to stand up to those who abuse their power and hopefully restore his confidence.

To Vintage Shack, Many thanks for "The Young Don't Cry" DVD, I received it today, November 30th, 2022. I'm very impressed with the graphics and packaging of the DVD and the artwork on the cover. The imagery and presentation are excellent and visually appealing. I look forward to watching the movie this weekend. Both Sal Mineo and James Whitmore are two of my favorite actors and it will be interesting to see them in the same movie. I'll keep in touch.
