Gail Osborne is new in town and everything seems to be going her way; she makes many new friends, becomes a photographer for the school paper, and falls in love with a handsome classmate. Then one night, Gail is frightened by an ominous, threatening phone call marking the end of her peaceful, complacent life in the suburbs. Soon there are scribbled notes taped to her school locker, claiming to be from someone who knows her. And the phone calls continue. Night after night the anonymous caller whispers threats that ultimately bring Gail to the verge of a breakdown. The suspense is brought to a fever pitch as we are drawn nearer to the identity of the assailant - one twisted mind hiding behind the face of teenage innocence!
